description
Like all legendary Les Pauls, the Les Paul Classic Double Cutaway begins with a foundation formed of a mahogany body with carved maple top. Rather than the original single-cutaway design, however, this model sports a double cutaway body for extended upper fret access, with traditional weight relief to further enhance playing comfort.
The glued-in Grade-A mahogany neck is carved to a fast, slim profile measuring .800” at the 1st fret and .875” at the 12th. The bound Grade-A rosewood fingerboard touches upon tradition with its trapezoid inlays, and joins in the 2014 celebrations with a “120th Anniversary” inlay at the 12th fret. A Burst Bucker Rhythm Pro in the neck position and Burst Bucker Lead Pro in the bridge offer unparalleled PAF-style tone, while master volume and tone controls and a three-way switch make it easy to dial in changes mid-riff.
Anchor it all down with quality Grover™ tuners, a Tune-o-matic bridge, and stopbar tailpiece, and protect it in a Historic Brown Gibson hardshell case with Limited Lifetime Warranty and you’re good to go.
